Rebecca Lardner

I was born in Swanage to a gamekeeper and post mistress and spent my childhood roaming the glorious Dorset countryside, happiest amongst nature or keenly observing the local people and places that have fascinated me ever since.

I completed an Art Foundation at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art and Design and then a BA Honours Degree in Illustration at Sir John Moore’s University, Liverpool and have fulfilled commissions for high profile collectors including Sir Paul McCartney's Music Academy.

My recent oil paintings are influenced by the South West and its coastline depicting life by the sea in my signature palette of subtle blues and greens.

I was awarded the Fine Art Trade Guild business award in the category of Best Selling Up and Coming Artist 2008 and Best Selling British Artist 2010.

I exhibit in a range of top galleries across the UK and abroad where my work is sought after by collectors throughout Europe, America and other reaches of the world.
